Coach attacked by a bunch of Dicks
A former Garrard County teacher and basketball coach is seeking civil damages from a former player and his parents, who allegedly assaulted him last year during practice.
Cecil Combs filed a lawsuit in Garrard Circuit Court last month seeking unspecified damages from Michael Dick and parents Jerry and Tammy Dick, claiming he was seriously injured during an attack last January at the Garrard County High School gym. The Dicks came to a practice to complain about Michael Dick's playing time when the altercation occurred, the lawsuit states. According to Combs' complaint, he suffered serious physical injuries to his neck and throat in addition to other personal injuries. The complaint also states Combs suffered mental anxiety, humiliation, mortification, lost wages and incurred medical expenses as a result of Jerry Dick's actions. Michael and Tammy Dick aided Jerry Dick in assaulting Combs, the suit maintains. http://www.amnews.com/public_html/?m...35&format=html
