The Movie SLAM
Anybody else seen it? I love it! It's an Indie film that follows a black poet around the ghetto and from a drug deal gone bad to the jail to him falling in love to him coming full circle. There are some very powerful scenes in it and the acting is so believable it looks like a documentary!
I like it because it goes beyond the stereotypes of black thugs as criminals and shows them as the people they are.
