Saw Collective Soul tonight....
Here in my little town in Indiana, they played at a festival about 5 blocks from my house. My dad and hubby have a few connections, so we got VIP seats and were in front row...
I gotta tell ya, these guys KICKED ASS!!!! they played all their hits including "Better Now"..I LOVE that song!! there were probably 10-12,000 people packed on our little lakefront. they worked the crowd well!! Afterwords, me and a couple of friends (with my hubby in tow) got all the band members autographs and pictures with each individual member as they came out of their trailor. They were verrrry sweet and gracious to the fans and thanked us for coming to their show. we kept telling them "Great Show!!" and they were very humbled and just kept saying thank you over and over. A great bunch of guys!!!!! I was in "love" w. the lead singer and guitarist" especially...Ha!! Ha!! After I got autographs and pictures, I simply asked each member for "a hug" and they all graciously gave me (and my friends) BIG hugs and thanked us again. To make it even better.. The festival was free! Next stop... Def Leppard Weds. night the 27th... 2nd row... YES!!!!!!!!! |

Hey, HigherGirl, glad you had such a great time. I have their first two albums, but I haven't ever seen them live...And hell yeah, the lead singer is hot, hot, hot!

I actually saw them live here in Little Rock in Sept. of 2000, when they opened for Creed. They were really good. They played first, then Full Devil Jacket, and then Creed.
