Best guitarist in the world.
K i was jus twatching some DVDs and i wuz wathcing some live shows, and i saw this one from 1986 of Stevie Roy Vaughan, and HOLY SHIT, Tremonti or Santana or anyone elese couldnt Do wha the was doing! That guy was crazy! He was doing these inhuman / physically impossible solos that were the whole song, its like one hugeass mad crazy solo that makes "Stand here with me" look like Jingle bells. I mean this guy was playen teh guitar behind his back and doing these crazy solos. Holy shit his songs kick ass too, There all like blues/rock. u (older) peopel probly heard of him, but he died in 1987 or somethen cuz of a plane crash, but man. after watching that vid, Tremontie dosent seem as "Super amazing" as he did before and even santana looks like a newb compared to him.
that song "leave my girl alone" is CRAAAAAAZY all his songs are mostly guitar, with about 4 lines of lryics, varry basic drumming and basic bass. but with wacko-crazy-impossible guitaring.

yup, there are alot of great guitarists out there, usually the older the better. i mean, these new guitarists coming out had to look up to someone and they were the best like Jimmy Page, my favorite guitarist, is ****ing amazing. he puts tremonti to shame, (yeah, i said it!) anyway, if you havent seent the live DVDs of Led Zeppelin i really suggest getting them they'er awesome.

SRV was/is an amazing guitarist. There's emotion and feeling in his guitar work, unlike other technical guitarists coughsatrianicough.
... and to think Clapton had a seat next to SRV.

The man supposedly didn't even read music. He was awesome. A lot of his playing was just feeling the music. He had an amazing ear.

I'm a fan of his too. The world lost a great guitarist when he died. Love ya, Stevie!
