gotcha

saw a vid of Kelly Clarkson & the lead singer of Yellowcard (i guess they were together at the time?) at a Metal Skool show (i think it was at least a year or 2 old b/c she's not quite as big as she is now). they pulled her out of the crowd & had them sing along. after messing around a bit (and the guitarist making numerous references to wanting to 'hit that'--to which the lead singer would reply, 'you're old enough to be her dad'), they proceeded to sing Sweet Child O' Mine. Yellowcard dude couldn't quite hit all the right notes (a wee bit sharp on the first couple of each line), and KC was wayyyyyyyyy trashed, and could only be understood while singing the verses. she did hit some pretty high notes, tho.

but she still sucks.

Ugh. Hearing about her and Yellowcard trying to sing "Sweet Child O' Mine" only makes me despise them doubly...

October's shaping up to be a pretty good month for me. According to the new banner up top, matchbox twenty has one out on the 2nd. AB, of course, has Blackbird on the 9th, and P.O.D. supposedly has a new one out the 16th (though that's still tentative, I believe).
