God i ahte waht we are ding in math. its stuff im not oging to use in real life. my goal is to do something in music like as a studio enginner or smoehting. Heres what wee are doing

Example.

-3x + 5< 26

man it takes forever to do. do any of you adults use this shi....stuff in your jobs?

Well as a nurse I use math a lot !!!!! I really hated math in school though! I was a science and literature person!! Anyways.... yeah, you use math EVERYDAY!!! It just depends on how intense the math in your job, like engineers use serious math, myself ...well...let's put it this way would you want a nurse calculating your medicine dose if she wasn't good at math??;) :eek: :eek: My best friend is a high School math teacher and she strugles with making students understand the importance of math, it seems foolish now but when you take your SAT you will be glad you had learned it!!!!!!

Im doing graphing, its so annoying cuz its so easy but it takes so long!! We havta make like 20 graphs for one days work and it gets REALLY boring after a while

Oh thats cool. My mom is a nurse. a Registered nurse i think and she is studying to be an LPN Piscensed Pratical Nurse. I think thats wahts happening

I was/am math challenged. I stunk at algebra. The only math I could do reasonably well was geometry. Wish I could help ya, CS.

I can guarentee you that is not what is happening!!!! I am an RN and to be an LPN is to go BACKWARDS!!!! LPN's only have 1 year of school, where as RN's have 2-4! Maybe she is an LPN going for her RN? Or a RN going for her BSN? A 4 year college degree!

yep,that's pretty easy!I hate Maths too,at school we did Maths that is taught at universities!!!!!!!we had a mad Math teacher...but still i managed and have a B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok heres a secret for you young kids that "hate" math, DO NOT complicate the math. i found math to be incredibly easy if i never asked "WHY" when i tutor kids, they always ask me "why do i do this?" "why do i have to do this?" so i will tell yall what i tell them. just shut the fuck up and do what your told. if you are suppose to double X on bothg side and divide by a two, JUST DO IT! you will have time in the future to learn why. but for the mean time, dont question it, just do it!

guys find it funny when i tell them this, girls just cuss me out and leave.....

but over all, ive never had someone fail on me :D :dork:

i dont like math, im not gonna lie, but it comes easy to me. i like science(s) i am really interested in sciences like biology, chemistry, geology, etc....

Math is easy for me... I was always "ahead" in math class. I took Honors Calculus when I was a freshman in college :)

Im good at keeping my eyes close for a good 8 to 12 hours. Math is easy too but its long and broing. It comes easy to me also. its kinda cool cause my little brother thinks im amaht genius for figuring that out.

Why do we keep doing it if MS Excel does all the work for you? They should teach excel, not math! :D

Well, what happens in thirty years when Microsoft goes belly up, and we need to develop new software to handle math equations... someone's gotta know how to do the math in order to program it :)

oh... I see...

you really have a point there...

but can´t they do the new software based on Excel? I mean, despite what happened to Microsoft, the software still runs somewhere, doen´t it? :confused:
