My Friends...

I've been on the board for a few months now and consider alot of you here my friends. Even though we don't personally know each other yet we do have a bond together, a love for Creed and goodness in general. I need your prayers , love ,and support now more than ever. This whole war thing with Iraq, North Korea and now with Iran is really starting to make me think (what if). I'm searching for God and to be the best father and husband that I can , but if God took me today even though I try to be good I wonder (what if)I do believe we are in the last days whether that be a year or 100 years our time is coming, the world will end , will we be ready? We all have one thing in common, I love for Creed maybe God created Creed to bring us all together to help save our souls , music is power and God can use it however he wants . When Scott is on stage in front of thousands of people he is no different than a minister, except he ministers through song. I'm just in deep thought recently and I don't want to be left behind. Keep me in your prayers.

Mr.CreedFreakTN, You are in my prayers. My heart goes out to you. All of this is so scary. But, just remember and have faith that God is still God and no matter how big our problem is our GOD IS BIGGER! And remember we are saved by God's grace and mercy not by our deeds. What a mighty and awesome God we serve.

Yes, there are dark times - but, you have a place to share, people that care, and music that make you rock on with passion for Living! Take a deep breath and feel all that love........take it in - and give it out.

Tia and souldancer are right, now is a time more than ever to hold onto our faith. It's definitely a scary time. From what I've read here on the board, you sound like a wonderful, loving husband and father. I'm sure your family feels the same way. I definitely think God brought Scott, Mark and Scott P. together to make music that's positive, uplifting, spiritual into the world where sometimes there is too much negativity.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers and I look forward to meeting you at Creedfest in May!! We're going to have an awesome time!!

MrCreedFreakTN-I've only been on this board for a couple of months also. I have read some beautiful views here, and I feel a sense of unity. Friends can be found in interesting places. The words "What If", can mean so very much.

What if this unity was meant to be?

What if Creed can change the world for the better?

What if we can be part of that?

To be honest, I am SCARED for what the future holds..And everyone is in my prayers...I make sure I pray every night before I go to bed. I am even afraid to have children..I mean, what kind of world will they be living in?
Mr CreedFreak..you are applauded by me for trying to be a good father/husband as well as anyone else on this board..Not alot of people can say what you have just said....

Yes I am. I try to do good, and do the things I want to do, but the church I was brought up in is against it(drinking) that which I do some, not alot usually at concerts I'll drink a little jack and coke, or sometimes have some wine with my wife . I don't curse anymore unless I'm real upset. I do like watching programs on tv , I don't mean porno movies, I don't watch that ,but I do like to watch rated r movies good dramas or action adventure movies. That is about it It's just wondering all the time am I doing wrong in God's eyes, I don't want to be left behind. I don't go to church anymore because I make excuses why I can't go. And the one I liked is to far away to go to now. I just need some direction, for God to guide me.

Keep praying -and asking for God's guidance. In my view, you don't need to go to church - you can touch the divine anywhere where your heart is open. Be gentle with yourself, and remember to spread that goodness not only to others but to yourself too.

Its great taht you are wanting to live a life pleasing to God, just don't forget that it is by God's grace that we are saved. There is nothing that we can do to make him love us any more or any less.

I agree with you, souldancer. I don't feel it's necessary to go to church to reach Him. To me, it can happen anywhere. For me, I experience Him when I'm in or appreciating nature. I had an experience last November after I came home from having dinner with friends. It was a beautiful, clear, cold night with a full moon and I just felt so good to be alive and when I got out of my car and noticed all the beautiful stars in the sky along with the moon, I just had to stand there for a while and take it all him and just praise God for the beauty that does exist in the world. That was such a memorable night, it was kind of like my own "Faceless Man" experience.

Sorry to go on so long but I felt the need to share that and just take it easy on yourself, Mr.CreedFreakTN. Remember, their is only one being that is perfect.

So beautiful! Thank you! Yes, I feel a religious experience and communion with God through these divine moments too....and sharing that in gratitude and awe help keep me connected with my Source.

Thank you so much, souldancer. I've only had that kind of experience a few times but they just made me feel so grateful and truly happy to be alive. It's a wonderful feeling when it happens.

I believe I've expenced that a few times, I would just be outside walking and just start talking to God, and I would see things in a different light, and just start thanking God for the birds and the colors and just nature in general.
