another day rises I try to remember myself I hear your voice in my head ready to waste my day watching me, judging me it's always the same I know where I came from and these games you play are wasted on me I stay myself even when I'm hurt and empty even when I'm scared and alone manifastation of power I'm just a woman I don't matter you'll show me my place you won't listen but your contradictions always reveal you you'll direct the place where my dreams go you'll decide to whom I give my love with noone left to trust I'm still the child of the new time meaning I can be whoever I choose you'd rather keep me in a cage where I give without recieving where you suck me out so there's nothing more to give and all that I am given is payed in blood it's just so easy showing who holds the strings proving it on the weakest members of society and in this hypocrite country you'd think we're all protected you have your ways above the law to show us where we stand you hate me because I'm fearless you hate me because you can't walk over me you hate me because you can't feed my mind with lies you pluck the flowers before they can bloom and all close their eyes they won't care for a stranger you won't let me find my way but you'll show me where I stand too bad I can't close my eyes too bad I'll fight till the end I won't let the mindless lead my way eventually all you'll see is you can't stop me from being free
