The Tournament of Rock

The local radio station here Lazer 103 is doing a "Tournament of Rock" - they pair up bands in brackets like the NCAA tourny and take phone call votes to determine who advances in the tourny. Last year, Creed made it to the finals, went up against Metallica and lost .. Metallica has won almost every year they've done this. Well this year.... blah... Creed lost in the third round to AC/DC... WTF is that?

YIKES. I like some AC/DC, but geez, that sucks. Musta been all those mullet heads from the 80s voting

AC/DC? Who voted for them? I would think they'd prefer bands that have actually released music in this century!! Go figure.

It seems a tad bit inane to compare bands from completely different generations. How could you honestly compare a band like Creed whose been around for about 5-6 years, with a hall of fame band that's been around for decades? It's just not logical.
