I wish I could gamble! I love playing video poker slots but because I am what's called a "Key License" employee, I'm not allowed to gamble in the state of NJ. So if I want to gamble I have to travel either to Delaware or Connecticut. Bummer!!! Looking forward to our Creedfeed Fest in Vegas, baby!!!!

Well that is a stupid rule. Are there some type of secrets and winning strategies that you employees know that will have you winning like crazy or something? I heard there are some tricks to it, but I don't do it enough to know whether or not they are myths. I know I always go to the closest one when I head to Tunica because the drive is about 3 hours, but if you cut off at the Helena Bridge and take 49 South you get to Isle of Capri in about 1 hr. and 45 min. so I usually go there, but it's funny, all you pass the entire way are pawn shops. I guess they make a ton of money out there.

Is it true that the slots hit more at the end of the month and that the most visible ones from the entrance hit more?
Just curious, that is what I have heard.

No Carrie, that's not true. Different machines have different percentages calculating how much they will pay off. They remain the same throughtout the month, they don't increase the payoff percentages at the ones by the doors or at different times of the month. All a myth.

I personally am in Keno, which has nothing to do with slots or table games, so I couldn't cheat anyone even if I wanted to. I don't play blackjack or craps, I have a basic knowledge of roulette and all I want to do is throw a few lousy quarters into a poker machine but being a supervisor, I am not allowed to do it in NJ. Stupid regulations.:madder:

Well that is good to know, I wonder why people say that.

Do people really win those large dollar amounts, or do they just grab a handful of people and give them like 100 bucks each to take a picture with a big check and pretend. I never see people win that much money.

No, they really do win. I've seen lots of big winners while working in the casino. I actually paid a jackpot to Evander Holyfield once. A $1500 slot jackpot about 13 years ago.

Well that is neat. Have you met a lot of famous people? I wish I could win a ton of money. I would just love that. Now I want to go gamble. Maybe Daniel and I will be able to go sometime soon.

Well, it's actually a CreedFeed Fest. It's a gathering of all Creed Fans who are members of this board. The first was in last May in Orlando. There are pictures in the Photo's section of the weekend and then there will be another in November around the Philly area. We have all become such a close knit group over the months that those who are able decided to meet. You are welcome to join us, where do you live? There is a thread about it also, check it out. PM TeriB19 for any details.

It's true, people do really win. I've never gone to the casinos here in CT but I used to work with a woman who won around $4000 once!!

If you every decided to come to the casinos here in CT Teri, let me know. They're about an hour's drive from where I live.

Well that bites, I am sorry you couldn't get RU READY, but CREED1 is good, too.

You are lucky to live in Vegas. You will have to meet up with us next year when we all head there.

Yeah, we plan on going there next Spring. I am sure closer to time the details of the hotel, etc. will all be set up, Teri is really good about that. You can probably help give her some tips on which hotels are good, etc.

They went to Orlando last Spring and had a blast. In November of this year we are all heading to New Jersey. Then next Spring is VEGAS. We are all so excited.

It would be great if you could join us, the more the merrier.
