The Ladykillers
This is one seriously FUNNY movie. Tom Hanks is VERY different from any other character you've ever seen him portray. Marlon Wayons character curses up a blue streak, but if you can get beyond the foul language, this is a totally hysterical movie. Anyone else see it yet?

I really, really would like to see that movie. The clips I've seen with Tom Hanks have been hysterical.

Actually, while Tom is great, he really isn't the funniest part of the movie. The events that take place are so comical and the entire cast really must get credit for all the laughs.
Hayley, it's about a grifter (Tom Hanks) who rents a room from an old Southern religious widow. He and his crew go down to her basement daily, saying they are in a band and are practicing their music. In reality, they are tunneling to the vault of a riverboat casino right behind her house. She catches them and then they must figure out how to deal with her. It really is a scream, the things that transpire.

I saw a clip where Tom Hanks was taking the landlady to her car, while a bomb goes off in the house behind them. It was so funny. I really need to see that movie, especially after what you said Teri.

This movie was a freakin RIOT!!! And Wayans was hysterical! And the guy who played Pancake...OMFG...He cracked me UP....The Coen brothers have a sick, twisted, brilliant sense of humor. I love them.

How did you like Pancake's 'finger'? I laughed my butt off during the scenes with the cat. And someone told me that when Irma Hall's character was supposed to be smacking Marlon Wayans she really was, over and over and over. That was hysterical.
