Could someone recap Scott's appearance on BDSSP?
I missed it. Didn't even know it was on! I looked at the TV guide and it said it would be on with Stapp at 11, and it was some other sports recap thing, and then it was some gay poker playing whoosiewhatsit. Could I just get a recap?

Here is something....
This was posted by Luva at Stapponline......
His solo album is coming out END OF THE YEAR. He said he is taking the sound of The Doors and Zepplin, combining it with Grooves that "make your 15's thump in the back" (thats 15 inch speakers that make that thump thump thump hip hop bass sound) and then combining all that and putting his sound and voice over it. He is working with "Seven release" (???) they worked with Ashanti and 50 Cent. He said he is pursuing his ACTING career. (gave no other info about it) There's more.....I'll post it in another reply |

Some more.....
Also by Luva at Stapponline
(thanks Holly) Forgot this part: he DEFINITELY said he planned on touring here is the rest of the interview: --he gave a signed guitar to Tom Arnold --they talk sports --stapp talks about his pants ripping on stage --His new solo album will be out end THE YEAR (he also says to on of the guys "want to be in my NEW band?") --He said he is persuing his ACTING career. --He talks about playing ball with Boomer and a bet they had and he won some money (chit chat) --talks about hanging out and singing karaoke with Mike Piazza (the mets) at his house. |

and the last one.....
This is compliments of Frankie at Stapponline.......
He won the bet with Boomer by throwing an 89 MPH fastball Big football player Lincoln Kennedy was there...said he loves Scott's music... Tom Arnold is one of the hosts...probably why Scott gave him a beautiful signed guitar. He told the story about ripping his pants on stage...and how he had to avoid turning around. Got asked the Christian band question...gave the usual answer Tom Arnold asked him if MOP was about marriage Scott laughed and told Tom that Tom should know all about that. Any questions about Creed...he responded positively and without hesitation. Sounded very excited about his solo album...and just my impression about the sound...I think he meant...just the driving bass beat in the backgound...then he did say "with my voice singing rock over top of it." He was very gracious...smiled and laughed Hope this helps....alot of the same information can be found at Creedpit. |

I saw him on there... looked a little more, um, plump than normal. I had no idea he was such an athlete, though. I was surprised when he said he beat David Wells (I'm assuming that's whom he meant by "Boomer") in a throwing contest. Everything that's been mentioned seems correct, and I can't think of anything that's been left out. I found his description of what he wants his solo album to be like to be somewhat intriguing. Saying he wants to "recreate the rock wheel". Hmmmm....

Thanks for the info.
Did he say anything about WHY they aren't together anymore or what caused them to want to do different projects? H-D WHOA! Just checked out the pics at the Pit. He really is looking... a bit plump. His face shape looks way different than before. Did anyone else notice the bags under his eyes?

end of the year hey? i guess the anthology will be out sooner? at least we'll have this new group's first album by August or so! Stapp's stuff is scaring and intriguing me at the same time. I get the feeling it is either going to bomb or going to be a masterpiece!
