TBH?
himself, i cant think of anyone that actually sounds like him.
hes very easy going, almost more, i dont know the actual word, but indie? i guess? than rock.
evyllsummer probably knows more than the whole board put together.

LOL I used to be obsessed with his 'Flake' song. I quite like the new single that's been broadcast, really catchy, easy going music. I don't know if I would get his album though.

all of you gotta at least try his songs!

They're acoustic and he has a unique style, the strumming... it's different, kinda surf music but it's sweet. Almost in the line of Eagle Eye Cherry and Ben Harper, but better (imo).

You should try:

~Times Like These
~Better Together
~Banana Pancakes
~Never Know
~Good People

it's not rock music but I assure you it's good! it's the first artist that had me listening their album several times in a row that's not Creed/AB/Submersed.

Download his new song "Sitting, Waiting, Wishing."

Great song. His music is awesome if you're into mellow acoustic stuff. Really great for when you've had a stressful day and you just need to chill (and I don't mean drugs, lol).

i like him (seems like a great guy) and his music but the trouble i have its too samey. if you've heard one jack johnson song you've heard 10 of them is my experience. he toured extensively with ben harper and is quite similar to him except less of a reggae influence. he comes to australia it seems every year.....for the surf no doubt!
