i got 4 wisdom teeth removed today. the dentist didnt put me under either, he gave me like 20 shots and super-numbed me. so when i was driving home from there, i had a mouth full of blood and it looked like i was punched in the mouth. not to mention i ran out of gas on the way home. but after all that, theres zero pain and no swelling at all. woohoo!!

He let you drive??? Geez! I had all 4 of mine out when I was 19 and I got the laughing gas. My mom drove me home and I made the mistake of taking the pain meds on an empty stomach. When I finally did eat something, I had mashed potatoes, then some cherry jello. Because I took the pain meds on an empty stomach, I ended up throwing up pink mashed potatoes. You haven't lived until you've had pink mashed potatoes coming out your nose.

i havent taken pain medicine b/ there hasnt been any pain yet...idk why though, i figure i should be dying right now

i never had my wisdom teeth taken out, i found it better to do it the old fashion way... having my sweetheart slap me around till they fall off.

I haven't had my wisdom teeth pulled yet. I dread the day if it comes. They are all partially in. Almost everyone I know my age has had to have at least one wisdom tooth pulled.

My cousin said it really hurt afterwards, but he was fine after the pain killers of course. Lots of mashed potatoes and pudding for him too.

what a coincidence, just yesterday i noticed i had a wisdom tooth starting to come in, that's probably why my bottom teeth were hurting, the stupid tooth is moving them, can't wait to get it removed, sounds like a blast

I'm with mullet on this one, pass the drugs!! I had mine out when I was 17 and was put under, I looked like a chipmunk for a week!!! Your lucky you have no pain or swelling at least yet facelessman!!!

Wow, facelessman. I'm sorry you had to have them out but I happy to hear you're doing so well. I never had to have any of my wisdom teeth removed. Before I had braces when I was a kid, the dentist pulled 3 of my teeth so that left enough room fortunately.
