I hade some bootlegs up - this was back before CreedFeed existed - when my site was humanclay.net

Also, it doesn't matter what Creed thinks - it matters what Wind-up thinks, and I guarentee that they won't approve of it if they would happen to find out about it.

Regarding your site design - I think you should go with something original rather than just modifying the graphics/colors used on the official Creed site. Just my opinion.

I don't think they'll do anything about it. I'm assuming its FTP based sharing which creed prison had for over a year without any such emails telling us to stop. But I would assume if you go the direct download way (stupid considering the hosting costs it would run up) they'll probably ask you to stop.

You should call it the Creed Common. A place where everyone gathers around to get their live fix. Or maybe Creed Centre. I'm just throwing those two out there for ya, no finders fees or royalties

How exactly did Creed Prison host the bootlegs? We haven't decided how to host them yet so I am interested in how they did it since it would be less likely for Windup to make a fuss over it. Let me know so I can look into it, thanks!~

An FTP server. It wasn't the greatest because we're in Australia so the upper limit was a 15 kb/sec tranfer. But if you're in college or have access to a super fat pipe you can get mb/sec transfer speeds, which means people aren't really cut off. We shut down because our ISP capped uploads to 3 gig a month, and we were putting out more than that - even at the slow speeds.

Another option you could do is host a DirectConnect server. www.neo-modus.com

Thats pretty good because it's like a personal Kazaa server.

The site design looks very much like the Creed.com site. Although I do like the pictures in the middle that change.

Said Eyes, I had planned to host them in FTP format but I was going to link them from the mainpage directly to each file. Do you think they would have a problem? I could just upload them all to an FTP account and then give people the address on the site and let them look around. What do you think?
