^^^ LOL, I know what you mean about being an addict, hehe...

I just bought Tori Amos' The Beekeeper and BLS' Mafia. Both really good listens. Also, The Mars Volta -- Frances the Mute...Killer.

I was thinking about buying frances the mute but I was not totally convinced that I would really enjoy it. Queensryche is kind of cheesy but those guitar solos and that voice mean fun power metal!

Hahaha, cool on Queensryche. I don't own anything by them, but they are decent nonetheless. I really enjoyed Frances the Mute. There is one song on there with a lot of Latin influence and it's just awesome. I can't wait to hear it live.

I like the Widow from that album but I'm told that song is nothing like the rest of the album, and a lot of the songs are extended for no good reason. There are a few songs in Spanish I hear.......

Their first album was like that as well, as far as extensions go. They are not your typical 4 or 5 minute songs. To me, it's like a musical story. I guess some people would find it a little inaccessible, but I really like the trip it takes me on.

I kind of got the impression from my brief listen at the music store it was trippy sort of stuff. I'm a little wary of spending 20 odd dollars on something I may not listen to.

if i buy from a larger and dodgy chain it would be about 25....daylight robbery! if it was 8-10 i probably wouldn't care and take a chance. i'll probably pick it up anyway at some stage.
