Favorite old band/singer(s)
Again, the rules are, there are no rules. You can post your favorite old singer, band, trio, quartet, orchestra etc.
I'm partial to Billy Joel (singer) The Who (band) Genesis (quartet/trio) and actually listened to ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) for awhile so I fall under all of the above. Your turn.

Man, I have a lot, but here's who comes to mind: Yes, America, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Neil Young, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin....the list goes on.

Something I really never sat down and listened to until last night.... Led Zeppelin. I was cranking "Stairway to Heaven"

Another Yes fan? Cooool!
Killer! I love Yes. Even newer Yes! I was lucky enough to see them this summer, twice. Saw them at Clearlake, California....awesome venue, right beside a lake. They played for nearly 3 hours and Wakeman was back with the crew. Word is, they've already scheduled some late 2002 tour dates. I'm there if they come back around here.

I'm with you on these choices! I saw Jackson Brown a few weeks ago. He opened for Tom Petty and outperformed him IMHO. I was so stoked because he did a song off of "I'm Alive" called "Everywhere I Go" Santana! You know where I'll be when you're in Vegas. I've seen Santana more times than any other artist, and still counting. It's just great fun. Carlos was my first concert, at the age of 10. He played with Tower of Power in Vegas, at the Aladdin. I still have the concert stub. Anybody into Moody Blues or Rare Earth? How about a really obscure Dave Loggins?

Would love to see Jackson Brown! Been awhile since I listened to Moody Blues. Not heard of Rare Earth by artist name.
Loggins, like in Messina ohhh * memories * sweet, sweet music..
