i downloaded it this morning, i'm really diggin it. I've probably listen to it about 6 times. the version i downloaded had sound "drop outs", probably because the beeps were removed. I can't wait to hear it tonight on AOL without that.

Don't get me wrong: it was awesome to hear him again but... It's too poppy imo... too catchy... and I didn't like the "echo" in his voice. I can't wait to hear what the "real" solo-album will sound like.

I can understand how the song might not have enough of a "hook" for some people...to me it's somewhere in between One Last Breath and Don't Stop Dancing, which I really LOVE btw, there is nothing "pop" about trying to hang on when you just can't see the light....
But coupled with the lyrics I think it's pretty wonderful...and the fact that it was for the Passion tribute cd... It is growing on me, it takes me a long time to digest any new music...I didn't like any Creed stuff at first, or Metallica either, lolol... But the more you understand anything the better it gets, to me... |
