This is my first post but i have frequented these boards for several years now. The official word of the disbanding is one of the most painful days I've had in a while. We all knew the rumors were out there, but there was always that hope. Kind of like the hope Creed gave so many people during those tough times. Listening to their work today has made me realize just how lucky we all were to be part of this journey they took us on and welcomed us all with arms wide open. Thank you to Creed for the past ten years. You were the first band I ever had a passion for and seeing you live the first time put tears in my eyes. Good luck to all!!!

I feel the same way, it does hurt to face reality, to realise that Creed are no longer a band, but all you can do is look forward to the future, and to what Alter Bridge has to bring.

well put CreedDBZ. the worst pain i feel though would be the fact that i never got to see them live . needless to say i'll once again be using their songs to get me through another difficult time. but i'll say it again even though it's been said about a million times in the last few days, at least they're all well and still have plans to record music .

Yeah, it was the longest time till I got to see them live. Everytime they were in my area something else was going on and I couldnt make it. I finally got to see them in the winter of '02 and it was a moment I will never forget. It was teh most fun I ever had a show.
