However, to even compare him to Stapp now, not to mention in his prime, is laughable.

i had actually read somewhere where he said that he was going to persue his solo career and not do fuel. i remember where i read thi tho.

Although Chris isnt part of AI anymore I think he would do much better by himself. I dont think he should accept the fuel offer he should wait for better ones. He has what Simon Cowell would say 'star quality' and we wouldnt want that to go to waste.

If you want to be technical, he IS part of American Idol still...he is under contract to American Idol for, I think, 90 days after the show is over. This means Chris can't negotiate other deals until his contract with AI is up.

I guess I really don't get why comparing Chris to Stapp is "laughable", but I'm not gonna waste my time debating the vocal capabilities of such a fuck-up and an egomaniac.

I think Chris should do Fuel. I think he could help record one of Fuel's best albums, and I'd love to see them on tour.
