Bad news for me :(

Hey everyone!!!

I haven't posted in awhile, and I'm sorry. I found out about a month ago when I took my cat Maisy to the vet, that she has Feline Diabetes.

I have been taking good care of her, and just worrying too much I think, so I've been on a few FD message boards lately. I haven't had to start insulin injections yet, as we are trying to control it through diet instead. Other than that she has been acting normal, playing and chasing the dogs around the house. Her only symptom is alot of water drinking and going way too much in her litter box, But other than that I just don't understand it. She's 11 yrs old, But acts like she's 2!!

I have no kids yet, so she's kinda my child ya know?? Anyways, thought I'd keep you guys updated. I didn't want you to think I was snubbing you guys or I forgot about you's !!

OH sweety. So sorry. I dont like see animals sufering. I dont have pets at home for the matter of fact that if something wrong happen to them i dunno if i could recover myself. Let us know about Maisy.

Awww, I'm sorry to hear that, HigherGirl, but it sounds like you are doing your best to keep your kitty healthy. I hope she will be OK...I like your cat's name, too

Actually my brother named her Maisy.... she is named after the little girl in the movie "Uncle Buck"
