against any form, save for cases in which rape can be proven beyond any reasonable doubt (not like this Kobe case, in which I feel the girl is just a gold-digger, claiming rape in an instance of consensual sex).

i don't think it is right even in a rape situation. sure the kid is unwanted, but it didn't do anything wrong, so why do we have thr right to kill it? we don't have any such right. the only reason that people commit abortion is because they are to selfish to care for a baby. there is no other real reason.

Gun Control:
If everybody was mature enough to use them, there would be no reason to control it. But since people are far from being mature, I'm think the harder to get one, the better it is. Besides, they should "control" the black market, not the ordinary one. We don't live in strawberry fields to let people buy it as they buy bread. Abortion: oh, oh... I don't have an opinion on this matter. It's so freaking complicated.

-about guns-
to bad in the states there are over 11 thousand gun murders a year, more than 10x more gun murders than ANY other country in the world. oh gee guess what, its also the country that promotes gun usage more than anyone else. k have fun with ur little pistols, but when your moms head gets blown off by a man who wants her car, dont come crying to me. Guns are to much power and that power is abused constantly, people (in gernal) are to stupid to hold the responsibility of a gun. IF that wasnt true, then there wouldnt be 11 thousand innocent people (more than 2 Sept 11s) dieing every year because of them END

You must be a man right??? That will explain that comment! You have obviously no idea what you're talking about! Please don't tell me that the majority of the americans think THAT way!

I'll agree w/ you that people are inherently stupid. But there are courses and gun safety laws and all that. And your little comment, which I've quoted above, I find quite interesting. See, these right to carry concealed weapons laws would also allow my mother to whip out a gun and shoot the offender in his nuts or something like that. You really do like taking the worst, extreme case possible very often, don't you? And what's with the "dont come crying to me". To me, that's quite disrespectful.

tell me where it says in the bible that it is okay to kill a baby that is unwanted, and un asked for. in al lthe situations where rape has occured, the woman had a baby, and more often then not, that baby became a great nation. it is not lawful to kill an innocent baby. X - i give you that, there are a bunch of stupid people that don't know how to control guns. or is that they they don't care?? these are the freaks who don't give a damn. should all the innocent people not be allowed to own guns becayse of the few who will not do it properly. that is socialism!! |

Oh no... the bible! I don't even go there! Don't want to offend you bad a$... I'm livin' in the here and now... not some 2000 years ago! Don't get me wrong... everyone has it's own right to religion! I have a very outspoken meaning of religion that's all! Tell me were in the bible it says "you should rape"?? Is someone who rapes a woman that holy? I guess not, so a child of a rapist can't be good either... according to the bible it must be a "bad seed". I love to hear what the bible says in that case, clear me up please! But you're a guy right? That clears a lot to me!

Personally, if I went through it, I would find it so hard, mainly because I would be concerned as to what it would do to the child if I had to tell them that they were concieved from a rape. From the accounts told by some women that have been in that situation, its so devistating!
As a Christian, I firmly believe that abortion means killing someone, cos of Jeremiah 1, and I will leave the rest of the bible stuff up to aba$, but being in the situation of being raped, oh man! I dont know what on earth I would do! There's emotions involved that a man could never understand. Especially concerning having a remnant of that man growing inside of her, U know? It's so hard! Many women have said that they didnt want to bear a child to a rapist and have to look in his/her eyes and see him every day. That's understandable. Also : I know this is gonna sound bad, but people have their own choices to make in abortion as a whole. Now I dont know if U have heard of the coathanger stories of backyard abortions and stuff, but though I don't agree with abortion, perhaps for those who are on a different journey in life and dont mind, it may be better that it is done in a more professional way?

yes, i am a guy, and i know that there are things that go through a womans mind that i can never understand, but don't be sexist. i hate it when people say that the bible doesn't apply because it was written over 2000 years ago. that is retarted. religion doesn't grow old. it never becomes, nonapplicable. the bible says that all scripture is beneficial for teaching, reproof, training in righteousnesss...and so forth. rape is wrong. i was am not condoning it and neither is the bible. i don't know where you got that from. a child from rape is not "bad seed" where did you find that? i understand that you have a very outspoken meaning of religion. but this country was founded upon christianity and god, and the bible. but that is another topic. |

Now that's just crossing the line! I'm a male, but I agree w/ abortion in the case of rape. Now, granted, I disagree w/ it in all other instances. But it's a responsibility you must take on for essentially being irresponsible. And the father should be a part of it, too.

This wasn't meant as a sexistic remark! Just to know were you come from. Sincirr understands that from a woman's point of view. Then let me be "retarded" just because I don't follow like sheep Let me tell you a great story and then let's see how it will be told in let's say 2000 years?? Things do change! At first birthcontrol was something bad, but the pope now agreed with it in Africa. So the pope is admitted to change whatever the bible says? That makes no sense to me.. That (among other things) made religion to me something to not take that serious anymore. I was born Catholic. But I'm obviously not practicing it! Well actually that was a question from me to you : How does the bible refer to a rapists seed?? I live in the Netherlands... I always found it great: The way that people get strength, power and love out of what they believe! Honestly! But it's not the only thing that's RIGHT! People can believe in so many different ways... I do believe... but not in a certain religion! It's got no specific name, no specific rules, no specific bible... It's kind of a feeling. A very positive one though... that strenghtens me. Just one more question... what has the bible to say about birthcontrol?? That's murder too actually... killing all those eggs and seeds! That's life too! So how consequent is religion?
