News on the single, record, and Steve Karas
Just emailed Steve Karas at windup. Didn't expect a reply so quickly. Here's what I got:
"Hi there – Steve is no longer with WIND UP, but I can help you. We should have Single #1 in mid August and album in mid October. That’s unfortunately all I have for now." This came from a Bill Richards over at Wind-Up. So not only is the single coming late the ALBUM won't be out til October?! AND Steve isn't with Wind-Up anymore?!?!?! |

Well this is a bit surprising. No single until August. They will embark on a new tour without any new music or a new album in sight. I guess we will have to wait. It is too bad that they could not at least release a single sooner.

That guy must of gotten the bands mixed up. What's the point of reforming to do are tour and an album only to have the tour finish before the album is out??
And Flip said a 2 weeks or so. He would know how close to being complete the thing is!!!! |

Don't know Wind up doesn't have much besides Creed and Seether. Aug to Oct is the Tour maybe he looked at those dates instead.
I Looked last nite our time and I could pretty much sit anywhere at any show I wanted. I will watch some more shows as I will drive East to West. Even my Pittsburgh tix I bought 2months ago still can sit anywhere. This wont change without new fans and that will come with new music |

Re: News on the single, record, and Steve Karas
Ok, we can all send Wind-up a message saying we are POed and we want new tunes but look at it this way Wind-up gets pressured the band gets pressured and that could lead to them to "rush" the record and put out sub par quality music. They are already doing this in less than 8 months time. Its been almost 8 years for a new music let them take there time and do it right, we can wait a few more weeks.

Re: News on the single, record, and Steve Karas
it would be different had we not already been given release dates for the single. mark and scott both said june 22. that obviously didnt happen. and then brian said in about 2 weeks, and that was about 2 weeks ago. so if we had ABSOLUTLEY no info, i can understand. but we've been given two time periods that have not been met either time. thats a problem.
now, if they are fine tuning it or what not, thats completely fine. but they need to TELL THE FANS!!!! Creed and wind-up need to make an official statement addressing a few things: A) What the delay is on the single and why it was not released when it was said it was going to be. B) When the OFFICIAL, no bull release date of the single is C) Same as part B, only concerning the record. D) Shed light on why certain shows still do not have ticket sales up. If Creed came out and addressed all of these points, people would be much happier right now. But because no one knows anything, people are getting pissed. And that's not good for an upcoming tour at all. |
