I'm no soccer mom, but I drive a 2000 Dodge Ram Quad Cab pickup and a 2002 Saturn 4 door. (with a sunroof!) The Dodge is for hot dates, the Saturn is for simply driving, because gas is still $1.65 around here.

1995 Eagle Vision. It's got the styling (and space) of a large sedan with the power of a moderate sports car. It's pretty awesome.

I've got a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I don't drive that much - it's only got 20,000 miles (just hit 20,000 last week) in two+ years of owning it.
To answer a previous question of why owing a 4WD if you don't go offroading - well in my particular case, it's much easier to drive with in our semi-harsh Wisconsin winters. I used to have a pic of it but I can't find it right now. It's got a CREED 1 license plate

oh yeah i remember seeing that and your car is quite recent. i think most people in the suburbs (in australia at least) don't use their 4WD's for their designed purposes and they are using twice as much fuel as is necessary.

I own a 1998 Chrysler LHS, the ultimate mafia mobile.
And let me tell you about the mileage, it sucks more than a Socal girl in frat house. With a 4.2 litre it sucks a lot of gas, plus it can only use premium - so it owns. Might not be as cost effective or fuel efficient as those imports, but remember kids, if we were to ever cross paths - I will split you in half like a can of sardines.

For a grandpa mobile it rocks, it has the interceptor system [fuel injection, engine, tranny] so it goes faster than normal without sacrificing engine life. For the uninitiated, the interceptor system is what the police, Secret Service, FBI, and other law enforcment agencies have in thier cars.

i'm really appreciating a drop from a 2.7 litre to a 1.8 litre. i'm spending half as much on fuel which is great. i've really understood the fascination with large cars to be honest. is this interceptor system some sort of overdrive or extra gear?
