I'm 35. GGG, you have been great! You keep taking great care of yourself (including being good to yourself when it comes to your bf). If he doesn't take good care of you, you don't need him.

GGG You should never be ashamed of your age. I'll respect your wishes to keep it a secret of course. However, I think it's a shame that a wonderful woman such as yourself would be ashamed of their age.
*looks down at toes* Nope... no toes were stepped on here. |

I am not the one making a big deal out of anything, GGG. You compare me being curious about boardies ages with asking for their addresses? That's grasping at straws if you ask me. You go to any BB and you will see at least one thread that asks fellow boardies their age. It's not an uncommon thing I ask here. I am merely curious. I am not putting a gun to anyone's head and forcing them to tell me their age. If you do not want to reveal your age I really can respect that ... AS I SAID... but really GGG... no one made you participate in this thread at all now did they?
And as for me using the word ashamed twice... so...? Your point is? I used that word to explain that, that's how you came across to me... as though you had something to hide or were ashamed. However you have corrected me on this... you are not ashamed... but you just feel that age is a private thing... that's fine... I told you that I respect that. It must make it hard when you have to give your birthdate to fill out applications for employment or for anything for that matter though. LOL |

Let it go, now it just seems that you are browbeating her. Everyone is entitled to participate in any thread they please, they aren't all required to give full disclosure at your request. Move on to someone else now, please.

Explaining how I feel and what I meant is not browbeating... it is called explaining how one feels and what exactly they meant when one is misunderstood. |
