this christmas im going to bake a apple pie,cherry pie,rum balls,and a
choclate rum cake and choclate covered strawberries.
i made the choclate rum cake one year for are weekend parties my
hubby has and a friends daughter who was 4 wanted a bite of her
moms cake she gave her a small bite and a few minutes later she was
laying on the swing with her toy telephone and was calling the dr.
cause she said she was hot and had a fever.lol was the double butter
rum sauce.
oh and i cant forget this year on christmas eve im going to have are friends
come over and where going to get an assembly line going to make
chicken/pork tamales havent figured out which one to make this time
there both good.
so i hope the freezes we have been having doesnt kill the bannana trees
cause i roll the tamale dough in them instead of corn husks then steam
them,plus the leaves are free and the corn husks cost so much plus you have to soak them.
the bannana leaves make the tamales more moist i think.
