Think about the last year and half they had. They went full tilt and had a bit of stress, good and bad along the way...Mark's mother dying, Mark getting married, Flip's becoming a dad, Scott's accident/voice/health woes. I think they need to live a little, step back, try to have as normal a life as they can, recharge the batteries. Writers always get that urge to express eventually. I don't think Creed are any different. Hell, Jerry Cantrell went four years in between albums, writing and recording all the way. I'll tell ya, the wait was long, but so worth it. His last album was incredible. [/b][/quote]
My thoughts exactly, Dogstar. I think it's great that they are taking some time off for themselves. Am I anxious for new music? Absolutely, but I'm willing to wait. I was just saying yesterday that I want them to be around making music for a long time so I'm willing to be patient so they can live a normal life like the rest of us and make great music without feeling rushed.
