For all of you who are still a little bit uncertain of the future for our Creed members.

Let's do a quick reality check.

First off, nothing has been confirmed. For all we know, things may not be what they appear to be.

Second, even if Creed has broken up, we should observe that it could be oh-so-much worse!

I mean. Man. We could have another "Weathered". Bleh. ( Sorry, still bitter about the less than Creed-worthy third album )

In all seriousness -- the bandmates are in good health. They all have irrefutable talent that will result in success in the future, whatever they do. At least, this way, they are giving a voice to their feelings and taking actions accordingly.

The possibilties for each bandmember, especially Tremonti, are pretty much without a limit. Not to mention, the mere idea of Marshall being hooked up with Flip and Tremo again make me want to run around. Screaming. For Joy.

As far as Stapp goes, he's had enough of a tough time as it is. Perhaps, Creed would only compound his current difficulties? ...

Furthermore, it could be possible that this rumored seperation -- assuming it's true -- will lead to greater endeavors for each band member within and outside of the music industry.

The point is, there is a great deal of hope for everyone still. I do not see this as the "end" of Creed. Rather, I see this as an evolution, a continuation that is only the next step in the lives of these very talented and capable musicians.

At the very least, we have some wonderful memories of each of them. We have over forty different songs, a dozen videos, footage, interviews, melodies, covers, and so on to remember them by. They have acheived what many musicians only dream of ever aspiring to become.

So, Creed hasn't ended. It's merely becoming something else.

So long as we continue to be fortunate enough to bear witness to any sort of offerings these gentlemen may produce, I think we will all be pleased.

I mean, seriously. Just give me a CD of Mark screwing around the guitar. I'll buy it.

Or a DVD of the guys talking about ... whatever.

I'm just happy I've gotten the chance to enjoy Creed's work, and am glad the possibilty for more from these guys, seperate or not, is still in the future.

To quote one of my favorites --

Quote: Well as the wind rides
As the day breaks the dawn
And as the moon hides the sun
Oh the sun
No more sorrow
All those crying days are gone

No more sorrrow
Now its gone ...

... So, is this the end, for us my friend?

... not by a long shot.
