Words can't express
This haunting empty feeling
I can't quite figure out
What went wrong

Why do we give in
To our teenage inhibitions?

We abort what God has given us
We turn what was right into a wrong

Whatever happened to our moral fiber?

Why do we give
Until there's nothing left worth giving
When you really get nothing left in return

Was it a thrill enough to keep you
High enough to ignore the consequence of your act

Ignorance may be bliss
it feels like I'm only knowing
And how lonely it feels
To be alone

They've got your call
You're on your way, you're leaving
Why did you leave your soul behind?

You sell yourself to short
It's worth much more than that

Now were at a permanent loss
We give into our feelings
Oh how they betray
They betray our purity

It's dark in this room
Empty vessels breathing

They're picking up
What they've lost

And I'm left here bleeding

I am left questioning
What is the point of it all

Can we regain our self respect?

I still can't believe it
I'm still stuck in my mind
