Sharing Silence

Because one is silent
Doesn’t mean they care less
Rivers and oceans run deep
As thoughts and emotions
Fill the depths of our souls…
Yet sometimes
Fulfillment can be found
In a thought that is sent
From a distance..
Awakening a flight of butterflies
In our hearts
Putting a smile on our face
And telling us
Someday …
We will touch hands
And share this silence together
