Her world has crumbled
She’s wracked with pain
All she ever worked for
She’s lost it once again
Standing in the darkness…
It would be so easy to fall away (fall away)
A gentle hand restrains her
A quiet voice is heard to say

He feels lonely and forgotten
In a world that knows his name
Has all he ever wanted
Worked hard to gain his fame
Knows that something’s missing…
Been a long time since he’s prayed (he’s prayed)
As he does, he hears a voice
