US : Micheal Jackson - Ben
UK : Lieutenant Pigeon - Mouldy Old Dough Australia : Blackfeather - Boppin' The Blues ^Those are awful. At the time of my birth and through childhood my Mother played alot of James Taylor, Niel Young, The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. Neil Young's "Harvest" album was released in February of 1972 and I've always claimed the single HEART OF GOLD as my birth year song.:) |

On the day Sarah Palin was born, The Beatles were at #1 with 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'.
** On the day Sarah Palin was born - Feb 11th 1964, The Beatles made their live concert debut in the US at the Washington Coliseum. Over 350 police surrounded the stage to keep the 8,000 plus screaming fans in control. One police officer who found the noise so loud, stuck a bullet in each ear as ear plugs. |
Re: What song was #1 on the day you were born
May 28th, 1987: In the US it was U2's "With Or Without You": Alright, I can deal with that. Not my favorite U2 song but at least it was a band I liked. In the UK it was Starship's "Never Gonna Stop Us Now": Uh, WHO? In Australia it was Dave Dobbyn With Herbs' "Slice of Heaven": Yeah, see, that's so totally out of left field that I don't know what to say. |
