Nashville Audio (Slower)
Did a little editing to "Torn" from the Nashville gig...
http://www.4shared.com/audio/MxEHfeB...__Slower_.html Flame if you will & I don't care what you say it sounds better slower. You might hear the glitch in the audio, that's because Audacity doesn't have a very good tempo plug-in... I used Serato's "Pitch N' Time" to pitch it back up to D. It's still a tad fast but I did my best. |
Re: Nashville Audio (Slower)
Amazing what happens when the song is played the way its supposed to be played. If they played their songs slower at a normal pace Scott would be able to sing 10x better.

Re: Nashville Audio (Slower)
Very valid question. How come nobody ever asks them these questions when they get a chance. I would say that this question along with what is going on with Stapps voice should be the only questions asked right now. I listened to the radio interview after the show last night and no one asked anything close to that. Questions about high hats and double live dvd and some stupid question about what motivated Stapp to keep going and get back together. With all the people that love and care about this band why aren't these questions being addressed?
I have watched just about every live clip I can find form last years tour and everything is way to fast and sound like its being rushed. |
Re: Nashville Audio (Slower)
Because people have no balls lol jk it was referenced on the ustream Q&A... Brian said he likes it slower & called it a "drummer error" which was a joke but still very true. I've never heard Flip this bad.
BTW here's "What If" http://www.4shared.com/audio/-YVedSZ...__Slower_.html ^No glitch now... I fixed everything in Pro Tools this time. |
Re: Nashville Audio (Slower)
Naw, Jared. I think you are pretty much unflameable bro lol. You're top dog around here. I just wish I was able to speak to Creed about this. Maybe Frankie could mention it to Stapp.

Re: Nashville Audio (Slower)
I'm sure it's been mentioned... Stapp talks to Mark about it on the FC bonus DVD (What If)

Re: Nashville Audio (Slower)
I don't know, I'm not hearing a difference in the temp.

Re: Nashville Audio (Slower)
It's definitely there. Especially when compared to studio versions of classics. The tempo live speeds up and is much faster. I agree there is no way that Scott can sing these songs correctly if he can't even breathe properly while doing them. Also why is there such a lack of promotional money being spent by Wind up?
No California dates on this tour? What gives? My family and I are driving to Iowa of all places, where my wives grandparent's live, just to see them. I live in NorCal and the closest they cam last year was L.A.? |
Re: Nashville Audio (Slower)
Man, I cant even listen to that. Either they had scotts vocals messed up or his voice is currently gone. That was really pitchy and rough to listen to.
