I want to challenge you Creed-people to say what's the best Creed-song yet... Give a reason for it! B)

SCOTTSMYMAN 10-18-2003 09:08 AM

OMG! Your are asking a very hard question. They are all great to me!! I'm curious to hear what everybody else says!!

creednet-x 10-18-2003 09:31 AM

I'll have to go with Inside Us All. I juts love that song!

Sheila63 10-18-2003 09:42 AM

I'm with you, Kris, that's a tough question. I'll have to think about it.

bobben 10-18-2003 11:38 AM

I know its a really difficult question that's why I asked it! hehe.... The first Creed-song I heard was Higher and that made me a Creed-fan, so I think that's the most special song....for me!

RMadd 10-18-2003 12:24 PM

You said it, Bobben. Even after all the times I've heard it on the radio (not so much anymore) and on my CD, it's still an awesome song... very refreshing lyrics AND music. Just amazing. Plus, it's the song that pretty much made Creed a household name.

e_stapp 10-18-2003 02:03 PM

oh, well, i think, the most important Creed song to me is, WAWO, because with this song i heard Creed for first time! ;)

Siana 10-18-2003 04:58 PM

i wonder between WAWO and Inside us all

creedchick02 10-18-2003 07:21 PM

Sorry heard them all, have them all......no way to choose they are all GREAT :D

Siana 10-18-2003 07:26 PM

u only got to choose the greatest among all those great songs :))

luvscott4ever 10-18-2003 09:12 PM

Mine would be Higher, it too is the first song that drew me to Creed. The next one would be OLB. It didn't dawn on me until last week-end though...My daughter and I were driving in the car and it was playing and I remembered...My first Creed concert (Feb 2002) I wasn't into them like I am now, and when they played OLB, Anna and I turned to each other and said: "We have to find that song and download it" We called it the "six feet from the edge" song....So that is a really special song for me, it reminds me of my daughter every time I heard it!! I thank her ALL THE TIME for bringing me into the here and now of rock n roll music!! :D

facelessman 10-18-2003 11:50 PM

man thats a hard ? to ask. i love so many of them

Sheila63 10-19-2003 09:43 AM

Higher was the first Creed song I heard as well. Ever since then, it's been a special song to me and I love it's empowering message - "Up high I'm strong enough to take these dreams and make them mine"!! I LOVE Mark's guitar playing on the song too.

UnforgivenOne 10-19-2003 12:40 PM

This is such a tough question... I'll say all of them just because. :P

bgivens33 10-19-2003 06:52 PM

My Own Prison....

Without it, none of your other songs would have ever been heard.

tremonti.net 10-20-2003 02:53 AM

hide 10-21-2003 08:25 PM

To Whom It May Concern is my favourite Creed song, its a very different song to what they normally write. Scott's vocals have never been better, great guitar work and Scott has so much passion here and great lyrics.

facelessman 10-21-2003 10:43 PM

yes i totally agree. awesome song.

hide 10-22-2003 12:47 AM

actually a lot of Creed's best songs are b-sides and non-album tracks. Songs such as Is this the end?, Bound and Tied, Young Grow Old and if we can count Brother of Mine are right up there with the stuff everyone knows such as Higher and One Last Breath.

Dogstar 10-22-2003 01:45 AM

Bound and Tied is so cool. I love that song!

#1creedfan 10-22-2003 01:57 AM

My favorite Creed song is Faceless Man! I just get chills every time I listen to it. But you know what I absolutely love all their songs :)

hide 10-22-2003 02:04 AM

i love almost everything they have done songs such as lullaby and ode don't really do much for me though. bound and tied is great fly fly fly!

Gingergoddess 10-22-2003 05:40 AM

"Don't Stop Dancing" is my favorite. When I feel beat up by life. I listen to it and I feel better. Then I throw in "Are You Ready?". It gives me the kick in the a** that I need.

facelessman 10-23-2003 01:29 AM

all their songs are great

mamm1234 10-23-2003 07:54 PM

Today its

Wash away those Tears.

Mr. Prophet Man 10-24-2003 10:12 AM

My Own Prison.... it's one of the greatest songs I've ever heard in my life. Still gives me the chills sometimes when I listen to it.

SmilinSkullRing 10-24-2003 06:25 PM

This is a little tough. Right now my favorite would be "Weathered".

facelessman 10-24-2003 07:34 PM

yeah it is hard

Siana 10-25-2003 04:36 PM

very hard:)

mamm1234, you can't be a very serious!! Wash Away Those TEARS??? Hello?? Fan or not? At least no serious one....

Siana 10-25-2003 05:49 PM

it may be just a typo, calm down :)

*ahemm..it's a typo....right..???*

Malevolence 10-25-2003 08:57 PM

Meh. Tough choice.

Their best song, overall, in my opinion is Pity for a Dime. Lyrically excellent, great overall melody, badass solo, moving bridge.

The most successful of the songs?

Easily between WAWO and Higher.

We'll go with Higher, because it's just more badass -- better lyrics, got them on the map, helluva better video, so on.

The Greatest? Hmph. So arbitrary.

Assuming Greatness equates to a song that everyone can love, and it rocks, and it's masterful in all forms -- lyrically, musically, etc...

Hmph.

I'm going to have to say Unforgiven. Lyrically, one of their best songs, if not the best. Musically, it has great drive, and I really enjoyed the speed, tempo, and the main lick.

Close tie: Torn, Is This The End, Bullets, WTLF, What If, Beautiful, Say I, Weathered.
