the heart or mind?

can't you think with your heart and not your brain?
but isn't that just the problem before our eyes?
broken homes and teary eyes
and gravity takes hold
when the eros fades
where is the agape
is love a feeling
or a state of mind?

how much of a role
does luck play
in deciding what type of car you will drive?
never happy with the lack of curves on our old volvos
when we should look away
is contement a level
or a state of mind?

sent my mother off to that nice old place the other day
she's in good hands with other men and women her age
with the other children she don't remember me anyway
this car is so much better
oh she's lost her mind

before you tell me stop building that white picket fence
look around you the builing is falling down
the foundations rotted down so long ago
driven by passion and the impulse buy
shouldn't we just stop and use our minds?

I liked this one...your stuff always comes from so many directions, of life..., yes i believe if we would you just plan common since, that the Good Lord gives us, the world we better a better place, which we now have lived in it, long enough, that nobody uses common since, And hearts tell us its wrong, if your really would just think with your heart...you would see the ugly truth of this world, and knowing me i could just go on and on ..but i will shutup

Well done, hide. I really like the last two verses a lot. They say soooo much about where we are as people.
