the best actors?

while i was thinking of my favourites i realised i was really struggling to think of women who i would put at the top of the list. obviously a woman can act as well as a man but i have a theory why the top list is dominated by men. the men can act well into their 50's or 60's (further sometimes) and still be leading men and get challenging roles. the girls meanwhile once the looks start fading are thrown on the scrap-heap. its unfair sure but thats life......

anyway my top 3....

although young dakota fanning looks like she'll do well as long as she doesn't go off the boil once she hits her teens like so many before her have done.

he is a good actor though....great job in "what's eating gilbert grape".

a couple of actresses who i did forget who are great are jennifer conelley and kate winslet. i realise kate was terrible in titanic but watch "the life of david gale" (superb movie about the death penalty) and she's awesome.
