Yeah, I will be fine. I am going to go see a specialist though, it still bothers me and I don't want to be drugged up constantly. We are having Lauren's party here tomorrow, Dora the Explorer so I have been busy with the house and all the details. I am having it early to separate it from Christmas a little. Everyone is so busy durng the holidays that no one can come when I do it right before and also so it seems like a separate occasion to her. I don't want her to think it's no big deal because it's so close. Tyler's is in June so it's a whole different thing and hers is December 23 so it's REAL CLOSE. Thanks for asking.

One of my best friends' birthday is Dec. 23 and she always got screwed at her birthday. It's great that you are doing her party early so it doesn't get lost in the hustle and bustle of the Holiday. Does she have the Dora's Christmas tape yet? Amanda got that from my brother and LOVES it.

What happened to your back? I am an orthopedic nurse and all I have to say is use surgery for your LAST resort! Back problems can be a pain, literally! Be careful with chiropractors as well, I have seen a lot of patients get messed up even more!

We are watching it right now. She got so much stuff and that was one of them. I think she has too many toys now.........lol. My living room is COVERED in toys................AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

The other day I woke up with a sharp pain anytime that i moved and I kept pushing to get dressed (this took hours) and get the kids to school so i could come back home and rest and my coat was in the floor so I bent over to pick it up and that did it. It felt like something popped and i hit the floor and couldn't move one bit without feeling the worst pain ever. My husband woke up when I screamed and he came out to the living room, but was afraid to move me because he thought he would hurt me more. He called 911 and they sent the cops, firetrucks and everyone and they took me to the hospital. They said it was a slipped disk in my back. I want to say they said it was some type of nerve injury when they explained it to me. They put me on all these pills and told me to follow up with my doctor. My family doctor seemed clueless and referred me to a specialist. I am still hurting, tomorrow will be a week since it happened and the meds are all that is helping. I cannot lift anything and they have me one these meds: Loratabs, Tylenol 3, Soma tabs and Flexorels or something like that. There are 2 pain pills and 2 muscle relaxers. He said some are stronger then others, so with work, I should take the ones that won't knock me out because the others will put me out completely. I hate taking them because I feel crappy, I want to just sleep when I take them. The pharmacist said if I take them all at once I will be out for a week. Any suggestions? The ER doctor seemed to think I would be fine, but I don't feel fine. I have been ok at work, I don't have to do anything strenuous, but some days I hurt worse then others. It hasn't gone away completely.
