Anyone know what the font is used for the AB logo? Or where I might be able to download it?

It's a custom made font. Not something you can buy or download. Sorry :\

http://www.fonts.com/findfonts/detail.asp?pid=403615 - it's $35!

It doesn't actually match either... the capital E is different.

Wow! I like the font alot, but not enough to pay 35 bucks for it, lol.

if we gather 35 people willing to give a dollar we could all share it, huh?

But there are at least 4 kinds of Carpe Diem... I didn't check the details and differences between them, though. Thanks for pointing it out, Steve! :)

The one I liked to seemed like the "specific" one used. The others are modifed versions (bolded, non-caps, all-caps, etc.)

Lol, I don't think they'd allow us to share it.

Design shops or professional designers have that kind of money to spend when doing a project so $35 is really not a lot for those that use fonts professionally. Just think - $35 and you can use the font as many times or as much as you want. Not a bad deal from a designer's perspective.

I'm studing desing and I must say: make a font is an art and you must be professional to do it. Carpe Diem is a decorative font (usually more cheapier). If you look for a classical desing font, like a linear or a roman type, you will find higher prices.

Anyway, in the logo are two fonts. Somebody knows the other font name? And the font used to write the CD title "One Day Remains"? Somebody knows? It look like two handwrite fonts mixed...

peace.

Holy frick. Why would anyone in their right mind pay for a font? That's BS.

The closest thing to the LTER BRID portion of it is a font called Haettenschweiler, which is usually on computers anyway. At least it should be if you have Office 2000 or higher. I'm not sure if it's on Office 97, but it may be.
