Huh? He's never denied being a Christian. What he always has denied is being part of a Christian rock band, which he wasn't.

I think it's great and it's nice when he was having a hard time in life he reconnected with his faith. Good for him.

I think it's great too. He messed up a lot and was unquiet, now he looks more peaceful and conforted. I think as time goes by, as his healing process, he'll (actually he's already is) learning and realizing mistakes and he's working hard to be a better person.

It will come for the best, of him and his fans.

Wasnt he always Christian? It wasnt him being debated as a Christian, it was the band claiming not to be a Christian Band.

I think Stapp claimed he wasn't a Catholic or was questioning his Catholic faith (from Behind the Music?). He never claimed he wasn't a Christian.

he's protestant. his family is pentecostal. (whatever it's spelled).

creedsister: your opinion, you're entitled to it, is respected but don't you think you may be exagerating?

To my knowledge he's never claimed not to be a Christian....it was the whole Creed is a Christian band controversey that was the issue. I have no problem with musicians saying they practice any certain faith. The guy has been through alot in the past couple years....if his faith helped him work through it...more power to him. :D

because i rather see a strugglin' Stapp, singing about wether he's believing or not, so i can relate to it.
Now with the new song 'relearn love', i can't relate it's so cheesy.

I think it's great also. He never did deny being a Christian though, just not a Christian Band like others here have already stated.

I don't think Relearn Love is cheesy by any means. It may not be as heavy sounding as some Creed songs, but this song was written for the POTC soundtrack and fit nicely in with the other songs. They lyrics are powerful and say alot. I love both versions. :)

It was meant to be cheesy, it was made to go along with an entire album of cheesy songs.

I expect Stapp's new songs to b more like the stuff he did with Creed than Relearn Love.
