i mean what he is going through is absolute hell, and he is only doing the stuff that he is becauze he doesn't know what else to do, he has given up on life completley so he is breaking down, he is lost...he needs to find himself again.

but i'm sure that he will get through this, i mean he is my baby, i don't know what i will do if he doesn't...but i shouldn't be thinking about these negitive things, HE WILL GET THROUGH IT!!!

I have faith that he will find himself again and get back on track. He was lost once before and he found music and writing to get him through it. I'm hoping he takes a looooooong break so that he can get back to the place where he feels good again. I wish there was a way we could get a message to him (aside from our prayers), just to let him know that his fans care and that they only wish the best for him and his family.

Touring's a lot different from writing, I think. His being able to express himself through writing will help a lot. It does for me. I mean, I don't write songs or anything, but when I'm bummed out, getting it out on paper is really helpful. Sometimes it's stream of consciousness kind of writing, other times it could be a poem or a story. It's just such a great release. It gets me back in balance.
I know what you mean about feeling helpless, but your praying and getting others to do the same is something! You really are a sweet person! Thank God for young people like you. It gives me hope!

Physical activity is also a great release, Dan. I walk a lot. It always helps my mental well-being. I also love to listen to really loud, head-banging stuff when I'm angry. It helps me get it out.
