I thought it was a great title. A perfect response to being told you are having a baby, it made me melt the first time I heard it. What a romantic guy!

TeriB19

And I like that title more than "One Way Mule". Although "Hooker With a Penis" is sorta funny.

Its by a band called 'primitive road gods' or something.

I suppose not a strange name for a song, but just a long 1.

TeriB19
12-01-2002, 09:52 PM
Not that there's anything wrong with that. I love the B52's. The CD they had with Roam, Topaz and Bushfire was awesome.

creedfan47a
12-01-2002, 10:23 PM
I have the B-52's greatest hits CD, whatever its called. I borrowed it off a friend a few years ago, then he decided to not be my friend anymore, so I kept his CD. It was his stupid fault for not getting his CD back BEFORE he decided to not be my friend anymore. :D

TeriB19
12-01-2002, 10:26 PM
His loss, baby. And I don't know how it is there in the future, but here in the past, possession is 9/10 of the law. So it's yours.

creedfan47a
12-01-2002, 10:28 PM
That's good 'cause I'm keeping it. Comes in handy for lame parties.

I actually had another one of his CDs in my possession at the same time. Then when he decided he didn't want to be friends no more, I kept the B-52s CD and sent the other one back to him..... in lots of tiny little pieces. :D

The Proclaimers rule, SJack and I listen to them when we play video games. I think their weirdest song title would be "Cape In Hand", the cd called "Sunshine on Leith" or something like that/

Rock Lobster's a classic! I love the B52s from that era. Cosmic Thing rocks, too. It is THE best CD for doing aerobics. It kicks a**!

I'm also partial to the songs Private Idaho, Planet Claire and Quiche Lorraine.

COSMIC THING!!!!!! Thank you, I have been trying to remember the damn name of the damn cd since last night. It's in the car buried (I have it on cassette) so finding it would've been a challenge. Thanks!

By the way, sorry if I offended you with the remark about The Police!! I have a very limited knowledge of 'older' music (as in, before my time) - my mum was not into music so I was never exposed to it at a young age. :D

hotforscott
12-09-2002, 12:17 AM
No problem. I wasn't offended. I have always been into music. I started listening to music a lot earlier then some of my friends, most kids i hung around really didn't start getting into bands and groups until they were in middle school. That is probably why i am into some stuff that is "before my time". I am only 23 and most of my friends would consider The Police before their time. It's just a matter of what you are exposed to I guess. I remember my first record that i bought, WHAM!!!!!!!

creedfan47a
12-09-2002, 12:24 AM
See, when I started buying music, I bought cassettes, although CDs were starting their dominance then, so I soon switched to CDs. I have never bought a record in my life.

Well, I am very unfamiliar witH records. All I rEmembeR about thEm is thaT they sound real funny wHen thEy are scratched. And you are very lucky that your parents bougHt you music. My mum has nEver reaLly been into music (except cLassical) so she dIdn't really underStand my appreciaTion of music that appEared in the eaRly 90's. I had to save up my own pocket money and buy musIc I wanted. Not fair huh?
