Since movies are a topic lately, what's everyone's favorite movie of the year 2002? I know there's a month and a half left, but it would be interesting to see if any of the holiday movies (i.e., Lord of the Rings 2, Gangs of NY, etc.) can change anyone's mind.

For me, the best movie to come out this year was Minority Report. It featured all the things I like in a movie, such as strong performances, solid character development, a well-developed plot, glimpses of the future, and plenty of psychological/philosophical twists -- you don't always find those in the same movie, which only makes this one better for me.

Mullet... you have to admit it was pretty funny though! I also can't believe I paid to see it either heh...

Signs was one of the best this year... although LOTR - The Two Towers is going to be the best.

The one part of Jackass where I actually found myself wincing was when they were giving each other papercuts. That was hard to watch.

Ahh... Road To Perdition... I haven't seen that one yet... it's the one movie that I wanted to see this year that I didn't.

i didnt kind the paper cuts or where they gave johnny stitches, it was the pee-snocone and the part where he craps his pants that i couldnt stand.

Those were pretty rough, too. Especially the crapping his pants one. The snowcone one was just plain unhealthy.

IGN has it down as "TBA 2003." So no Christmas this year. However, if you're longing for a good dvd to buy/rent, I would definitely recommend the LOTR: FOTR SEE DVD. Undeniably the best dvd ever created.

Signs was a good movie.... it drove me nuts because evey time i heard a weird noise in the house all I could think about is aliens!!!!!!!!:eek:

i was promised a trailer to the two towers in my LOTR DVD, but its not there, or atleast i cant find it. all i found was a making of TTT, not the movie trailer...
