Don't Stop Dancing!

I just found this kind of interesting. The other night, I was writing down my "Creed Lyrics of the Week." It's just this thing I started at the beginning of the school year. I would just write down a fragment of a Creed song, and just let that be my inspiring words for the week. As I was saying, I was writing some of "Don't Stop Dancing" the other night. It didn't occur to me how much meaning this song can mean in such a crisis. It was always just one of those songs that my mind didn't sink into the lyrics as much as some of the others. As I was writing them, I saw, that it kinda relates to whats been going on, with all these rumors and stuff.

I don't know about anyone else, but that just kind of struck me. Just sharing some thoughts!

Hell, do what u feel!!! Really, I think it's more of a spiritual dance, a dance known only to children, that's lost in the mire of adolescence and young-adulthood...but every time I hear this song I remember my dance again and I'm liberated for those 4 precious minutes...here I go again, rambling. :rolleyes: I just can't help it!

ARGH!! Would you PLEASE apply pressure with your THUMB to the SPACE bar between words instead of the fucking comma! And creed default sister, what an awesome post. When I listen to Creed music, so many of the lyricscould be them of Scott right now.

Why we're so sd, some of us. It's the words, the music. There are other bands but none that have touched my heart and soul so frequently like Creed.

Ya know what Creed lyrics I usually find myself mulling over? "Next time I see this face, I'll say / I choose to live for always / So won't u come inside / And never go away..." I just feel this...this strange lifting feeling whenever I hear those lyrics, I just want to grab Stappy and hug the shit out of him for giving me those words, sung so gracefully. But I have to agree with everyone else in this thread on the DSD and Weathered lyrics...those are some really deep words. Really deep. *strokes chin thoughtfully...lol*
