Just got back from Van Andel... so pumped I can't sleep... Creed was as usual AWESOME.... yet different than the WPB show a little over a week ago... the line up was the same except Stereo Fuse opened and Default can on second (Which in my opinion a good thing) than before the riffs of Bullets EVERYBODY was on their feet. General Admission is frowned on here but Creed managed to get away with it... I’d guess there were at least 1000 people on the floor ... towards the end two were lifted over head to the edge... of course security escorted them right to the back but still the energy was contagious.

Scott mentioned they were here with friends and family .... I guess referring to Mark’s ties to Detroit ... and referred to the concert in January which from the response over half had attended ... the stage was so big for our little arena it extended out onto the floor. The pyrotechnics were scaled down... but still astounding, something we don’t get often. On either side of the main set there were ramps up to the reserve seating which Scott was constantly running in between.

The crowd was ready and really in to it... we're so starved for venue - the show was sold out and from my seat there wasn’t a spot to be had anywhere. I could barely hear the second song... - Freedom Fighter, then came What If, Say I, Torn, Who's Got My Back, One Last Breath, “Hide” (Which Scott added that this song lifts him everytime he sings it) One, Weathered, (if you know me ... you know why... I had to brush more than one tear off my cheek) My Own Prison, With Arms Wide Open, and What's This Life For. Then after chanting their names for about 5 minutes they came back out for the encore and played Higher, and My Sacrifice. - (I’m not sure I got the order right) The pyrotechnics were great and fitted very well into the songs and stage set up, a treat we don't get often. Mark did a lot of Guitar solos and I loved it when he sang in “My Own Prison”, Brett did back up on most of the songs – and played keyboard during “Who’s got my back” ... he’s got a great voice. Flip looked like he was having the time of his life...my husband said he was an awesome musician ... and must have tossed at least a dozen pairs of drum sticks into the audience; but Scott definitely made the show for me. He was constantly moving all over the stage, at one point ran up next to Flip and started beating a cymbal right along side him, and at another song ran to the top of the ramp and sang out to those in the cheap seats above the whole band. He not only sang his heart out but he interacted with the audience non stop... getting us to sing, clap and sway to almost every song. He really seemed to enjoy hearing us sing the songs to them and put the mike to the audience many times during several songs. He also was humble and polite in thanking the audience several times for being so great. . My only regret is I still haven’t heard “Don’t stop Dancing” live... but I guess that requires Amiee to tour.... but all in all was a great concert and worth what I’m going to pay tomorrow at work for no sleep and Rocked Senseless... thank you Creed for an awesome night I will NEVER forget!!!!

Hi Webwitch! Glad you had such a rocking good time. For DSD they don't need Aimee, Brett sings her part. They did that for the first two shows I've seen this year, but they didn't do DSD in Ft. Wayne on Sunday night. Such a powerful and moving show. An incredible experience, especially from close up.

Well the Press wasn't as kind.... but then he didn't even know that Brian wasn't with Creed and Brett was playing bass. I guess it's one reviewer against all 12780 others who were in the audience.

See, now there's a post that belongs in the "What Issues Irk You" forum. One stupid reporter who doesn't even have his facts straight goes to review a concert by a band whose members aren't even remotely familiar to him. Webwitch, you and those other 12780 should've kicked his butt.

Yeah, that's a perfect example of the ignorance of people who like to bash Creed.

This is the kind of thing that drives me insane. I'm a member of the media, and if that reviewer was any kind of reporter, he would have done the proper research before covering the show. It's people like that who give my business such a bad name. It's inexcusable not to have a clue about what you're covering. Grrrrrrrrrr.
