we own a place in D.C. i love the location the only thing is i wish it was A LOT bigger and on the top floor. its on pennsylvannia ave. a few blocks from the white house.

My dream home is in still in NJ. I want to be close to my family. A couple of acres of land. Two stories w/4 bedrooms. A master suite w/a huge bathroom and a big tub!In the backyard I would have a huge inground pool w/waterfalls and attached hot tub! Likely ,for me this is not so much a dream. I will have a house like this someday!:)

I'd love a house on the beach or a lake with BIG windows facing the water alon with a deck. I'd also love to have a big bathroom with a huge round bathtub, a big bedroom with a walk-in closet, lots of windows that let lots of sunshine in. As for the style of the house, I'd like it to be all on one level.

Well I have thought of my dream home for many years. First off, it would be on the water, preferably a huge lake or ocean side. I would like it to be a huge house with stone and brick. Many acres of land, with trees etc.... It would have a huge deck/patio off the back facing the water for entertaining. The kitchen would be huge done in a "old world" Tuscan design with stone tiles, a huge stove and all the kitchen gagets. I would love a brick hearth as well in the kitchen. Then I would love a nice sized family room with huge windows facing the water, about 4-5 bedrooms. The master suite would be large with a nice bathroom with a huge tub and seperate shower, all done in tile. There would be a gym, mudroom, and office with tall mahogany book shelves. Then a loft style room upstairs for a playroom for kids. Then I would have a inground pool, and stables for horses etc... Lots of beautiful trees, wild flowers herbs under my kitchen window so I can go pick fresh herbs to cook with! Gosh i could go on and on...... I am a BIG dreamer:)

A massive house deep out in the country, with a huge fire, built in wrestling ring, built in sound system, huge heated pool, and a spa, also it would have to be either overlooking a river or the sea, with a giganic water bed :cloud9:

I really don't want a great big huge house, they get robbed first;) I would love to have a house with a wrap around porch and a big yard, either a light yellow or tan color to:)

Actually it is the "middle class" that have thier houses robbed more often. Those with BIG houses ALWAYS have state of the art security systems so it is more difficult to break in!

I would have to add to my dream house, a fireplace in the bedroom and living room. I have always wanted a huge stone fireplace to hang stockings up on Christmas:D

Mine would be a cape on the East Coast, preferably anywhere from Maine to R.I., with a huge kitchen, a porch, a sunroom, a fireplace, hardwood floors, three bedrooms (one for my music and sports stuff), a garage and a basement for storage :D. I'd like it painted country blue or pale yellow with dark green trim.
