Ahhh... just sittin' back, relaxing, and listening to Creed's cover of Riders On The Storm. For all you all who have been blessed enough to hear it, I want to know what ya think? To me it's just kick@ss!!! Matter in fact, I wouldn't mind a bit if they covered a song any time if it was that good!!! :cool:

I agree, Jen. I love their cover of Roadhouse Blues too.

Same here, it's on my My Sacrifce single, and I love the song. Before I bought it I never knew it existed so I was really impressed.
I guess there are some benefits for living on the other side of the world so far away from Creed, we get a lot of Creed B sides and acoustic versions on our singles.

I guess living in the US we get the tour oppertunities while you guys get the b side singles and extra tracks/videos on the albums.

Have to agree w/Jen and Sheila, he sounds soo much like Jim it's scarey.I was listening to it w/my Dad and he thought it was Jim. I also have Roadhouse Blues too. They are both just awesome!! :dancing:

agree too - he sounds soo much like Jim it is eerie - you can also get the song on the Stoned Immaculate Door Tribute Cd - which is a good buy if you like the Doors - all different bands do covers of Doors songs - some are quite different and none as good as Scottie's but it is decent listening

One question I always had though is I know Robby Krieger helped out on guitar-but I wasnt sure if Mark was doing the strong riffs you hear towards the 2nd half of the song. It sounds like Tremonti to me & I think it really makes the song!

I know that the band felt he sounded a lot like Jim so they invited him to do that Doors special on vh1 or mtv a few years back. Does anyone know where i could obtain some of that material?

one of Scott's best ever vocal performances, in fact Creed's covers are some of their best songs. They should really cover a lot more bands they do it so well. I would love more classic rock and some of the better modern rock, that would be sweet. He's so into the performance as well, so much like Jim its scary.
