Lost post accumulated numbers

What the hell last time I was on here I had over 5,000 posts now it is 4,734 or something!!!! What is going on?:mad:

You know what Jen? I just realized I have the same problem, I know I had well over 8000+ posts and now I'm down to 8100. I definitely lost several hundred!!:(

I don't know Marcos, but I remember weeks ago Bec started an 8000 post thread for me and now I only have 8185, and I've posted a heck of a lot since Bec started that thread. I'm clueless.

I think the thread that was deleted may be one of the following:

-time to eat
-time to drink
-what are you wearing
-the one word thread
-the 2 words thread
-the 3 words thread
-the 4 words thread

it has to be one of the above, coz I didn´t post much on them

I haven't noticed whether I lost any...I wonder what was deleted.

Nothing was deleted by me. I think what happened/happens is when that little database error occurs and a thread goes missing, it updates your post counts to reflect the post being "missing"

The new version of the board has been released so I'll be upgrading to it sometime in the next few weeks (going to wait a week though just to be sure it's a secure version).

Hmmm, I could have swore that I was only a little away from 5000 when I started back posting. I remember thinking I only needed about 80 to have 5000 and now I need like 280 or something. I know I was over 4600 before I ever left the board to move back down here. I know when my account was accidently deleted and I had to rejoin so Steve gave me my posts back and I was over 4600 then. I didn't think much about it because I thought I could have just looked at it wrong since I haven't been on in awhile, but when I saw this thread, I thought that it must have been deleted threads.

It is really odd. Just like when my screen was messed up and all I saw were black boxes and could not post normally. It seems there are some wierd things going on, then all the sudden it was OK :eye:
