My friend had got ahold of anime series called "Chobits". That os not adapted for American market too (i.e. substitled, and uncut... btw did you know that when they translate anime from Japaneese to English they change names and story so same sex coumples become hetero? Once many anime chacters look really femenine that's not a problem. Cencorship doesnt really stop at that).

So anyhow... it is supposed to be for little kids. Now maybe it is, but I'm not sure how messed up Japaneese kids must be -- sexual innuendos are all over the place. Guy would blatanly stare at girls brests, and she'll be like "That's an E cup!" and he "Oh.. I didnt have any perverted ideas!" and she "Oh really? None at all?!" "Well a bit.." he replies =[[ ]]. Nothing happened afterwards but still. I wonder if by the time I have kids, local TV will be flooded with such stuff.

P.S. At least these series have no nudity, although it's borderline many time. Other "kids" anime's are much more revealing. Holy shit am I really so concervative, that it bothers me? =(

P.P.S. Funniest part was when main charcher was about to get Internet access, and he was all exighted yelling "I'll download all the porno in the world!!!!" Kids gotta learn early on what's internet is for lol

Which ones?
Anime at times has very good storylines, that, yes, have a lot fo sexual innuendos and such, but that's Japaneese culture.
Read "Hunting The Sheep" -- great japanees book with really though provoiking story. Interesting part also is that he descrines lifestyles of people in there and they differ a lot from what you're used to.

If I can find them on my comp, I'll PM or e-mail them to you... if not, I know I have them printed out and can find them to snail-mail to you, but you'd have to PM me your mailing address if I have to do that. But I'll let you know later if we hafta do that. It's a last resort.
