Poem I wrote

Another darker one :crying:

Seeking Peace

A clouded sky begins to darkens my way
Lightning strikes above no longer can I stay
I Listen for directions but thunder fills my ears
I though I felt rain but it was only my tears
Running from this place but were can I go
The comfort I had was all just a show
But I see a brake in the blinding storm
I don’t know if I can make it for my soul is torn
It’s hail beat my heart far to long
My spirit fading but still I prolong
I hope I find some way out
For inside my heart is so full of doubt
Refusing to fail never will I cease
For the brake is still there and in it is peace

The brake is something different for everyone. It could be being with your family at the end of a long day, being with someone you care about, God etc.

yeah, I really care less and less what others think because this is just a way for me to express myself.
