[Higher_Desire]

Recently, I've been listening to the album 'Something Like Human' by Fuel. It's a really cool album. Do any of you like them? Personally, I don't know why they didn't get more attention / get bigger than they are (which, I guess, isn't that big).

Yeah, they're a pretty good band and all of them except the lead singer is from my home state, TENNESSEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, they're newest song called "Won't Back Down" is featured on the DareDevil Soundtrack. Awesome rock soundtrack by the way!

I think they also signed under a new label recently and are working on their next album.

I've liked Fuel since Sunburn, and I agree, Something Like Human rocks!! I also don't know why they aren't bigger. They visited Australia a couple of years ago, but as far as I know, they didn't actually tour. Otherwise I would have gone to see them!

I saw them back in Little Rock when they opened for Kid Rock about 2 February's ago I think, I really liked them and have ever since.

I thought I read somewhere that they were having problems with their old label so they dropped it and signed to a new label that will hopefully promote them better! :cool:

Omg, I love Fuel! They're the band that got me into rock in the first place. Their songs Hemorrhage and Innocent relate to me so well. And songs like Bittersweet and Bad Day are really excellent. I mean, Brett Scallions has so much skill, like on the end of Bad Day where he does that little improv thing, oh my God! And Carl Bell can really write some lyrics. All right, I'm rambling. But I do love those guys!!! :D

I love Fuel....they're one of my favorite bands!!!! Have yet to see them live, although I have gotten to hear them twice via my cell phone!!! (I have two really awesome guy friends who call me from whatever concerts they go to...I even got to hear Creed from one of them back in 2000!)

That's cool that they call you and let you listen to the concerts... a little weird though. Just think about it... they're paying for a couple of hours of using the cell, which probably costs a pretty penny. You should just tell them to get you a ticket instead! ;)

I always have loved fuel from day 1. Sunburn was an awesome album too! I can't wait until there next one. My fave song from them is "For You". Great song!! Fuel is one of the many bands that got me into rock in the first place so I thank them for that. :)

I really think that Fuel is a good band. Did they ever come out wit another album...??

The only album they came out with BEFORE "Something Like Human" was "Sunburn". It's a good album, you should check it out. They are in the studio right now working on a 3rd one, but they haven't said the release date yet.

Fuel are a totally awesome band.
Something like human is awesome, but i still like their debut album better.
Innocent is probably my fav song by them, cant wait til their new album comes out!

Yay, you have Hideaway in your sig! I love how Brett sings "La-da-da..." It sounds so good.
The vid to Innocent is really cool. Brett has his face in a copy machine for a lot of the time. Then, they show the band members standing with a wall behind them covered in their pictures. It's pretty cool. But Brett really shines in this vid. Another good vid is the Bad Day one. Have you seen it? It's pretty cool. Brett shines once again! :dancing:

Their ong Innocent is what made me buy Something Like Human in the first place. I saw the video the morning we were going out of town and I knew I had to buy it. :)

I use to see them mostly on VH1, occasionally on MTV. I mostly watch VH1 because they play Creed. OH! The other day I was flipping channels and VH1 was playing My Sacrifice.
